Welcome to the
Cambridgeshire Trainee Solicitors Group

The CTSG is an organisation consisting of over 100 trainee solicitors, paralegals, newly qualified solicitors and law students across the whole of Cambridgeshire.

The coming year will hopefully see the CTSG grow and cement itself as a name to be recognised and respected amongst the junior professionals in Cambridgeshire. On top of our already blossoming group, we are looking to expand our membership to welcome students, trainees and paralegals who are not yet members to join in with all our events and initiatives.

As well as keeping an active social and sporting calendar, over the next few months there are plans to develop student mentoring schemes in association with Anglia Ruskin University, mentor students in the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs £5,000 annual business plan competition and support local charities.

The Committee are also looking to bolster ties with local businesses by organising shopping events, wine tastings at local merchants and enjoying the simpler things in life- like a simple punt along the local waterways (perhaps with a splash of champagne to boot). For those bordering omnipotence in their general knowledge, we will also be hosting several quiz events throughout the year.

Support for the schemes is vital and giving an ounce or two of your time will, we are sure, see that you create some fond memories and forge some long-lasting relationships with some of the very best of company. Through furthering links with the Cambridgeshire District Law Society and the Cambridge Young Solicitors & Professionals Group we hope to enjoy and add more to the years you have in Cambridge.
