Jonathan Hamilton

President

jonathan.hamilton@camtsg.org.uk

As a first year trainee solicitor, I have my eyes open to the diverse opportunities and experiences open to trainees and junior lawyers. Pursuing my second career, as a lawyer, I hope to add to the blend of experience and quality of the CTSG and welcome new members to take the CTSG forward in the future.

Tom Gibbs

I am the new CTSG Vice-President and a trainee at Mills & Reeve. My role is to raise the profile of the CTSG, along with the President, as well as establishing funding and sponsorship for the CTSG. I am also in charge of encouraging links with local businesses, organising shopping events and discounts at these stores and helping co-ordinate events with the Social Committee. Please feel free to e-mail me.

Alex Tanner

I'm a first year trainee at Mills and Reeve and am Secretary of the CTSG 2009/2010. My role is mainly organisational and administrative, although I am looking forward to helping the rest of the Committee with raising the profile of, and participation in, the CTSG Cambridge-wide...especially on social occasions!

Toby Smith

I'm Toby Smith, a trainee at Mills & Reeve. As CTSG Treasurer, my responsibilities include: keeping the accounts, discussing funding/budgets for CTSG events and most importantly, deciding how generous the bar tab should be! If you would like to know more, please do contact me.

Emma Conacher

I am a trainee solicitor at Mills & Reeve and am the National Representative on the CTSG. This involves attending national meetings of the Junior Lawyers Division to inform the committee of news and events concerning Cambridgeshire junior lawyers. I feed back information from these meetings to the CTSG and I am open to suggestions for issues I can take to the national committee for consideration.

Tom Barker

My name is Tom Barker and I am the social secretary for the CTSG. I am originally from Reading and have recently moved to Cambridge. My aim is to organise lots of social events around Cambridge that lots of people can get involved in.

Kim Wedral

Ball Committee

kim.wedral@camtsg.org.uk

Hi, I'm a first year trainee for Taylor Vinters. I am currently a member of the CTSG Ball committee, which means I get to make decisions that result in a big, very responsible drinking event towards the end of Autumn. Obviously law is a great passion of mine, but there is more to life than being a legal beaver! I like to think that I am good at making things happen and that I am a people person, which is why I joined the CTSG.

Francesca Lofts

Ball Committee

francesca.lofts@camtsg.org.uk

I'm a first year trainee at Taylor Vinters. I'm on the CTSG Ball Committee for 2009-2010. After last year's brilliant "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" Ball at Homerton College, Cambridge, this year's Ball Committee are hoping to organise an even bigger and better event next October!"

Simon Green

Simon is a first year trainee with Taylor Vinters, having studied law at an undergraduate and postgraduate level at UEA in Norwich, and the LPC at De Montfort in Leicester. His role within the CTSG is as a member of the 4-strong ball committee, which organises an annual black tie event in Autumn.

Liz Davies

Ball Committee

elizabeth.davies@camtsg.org.uk

Before starting my training contract I studied Law at Jesus College, Cambridge and completed the LPC at BPP in Manchester. I started at Mills & Reeve in September 2009. I am a member of the CTSG Ball Committee who are collectively charged with organising the CTSG's biggest event of the upcoming year.

Andrew Morton

Sports Secretary

andrew.morton@camtsg.org.uk

I am a first year trainee with Mills & Reeve and enjoy a number of sports including football, tennis, skiing and wildly inconsistent golf. I'll be working with the committee and other local professionals' groups to organise a range of activities with the aim of appealing to as many people as possible.
