CTSG Events Update
			On 25th January 2008, Cambridgeshire Trainee Solicitors Group welcomed the New Year with a party in Ta Bouche in Cambridge, which carried on into La Raza. There was an excellent turnout to this event, which was kindly sponsored by Lawyers in Private Practice, and it helped us all to put the January blues behind us! See our Facebook group for photos from the party� February saw the regional launch of the national group, Junior Lawyers Division, in Vodka Revolution. A number of CTSG members turned up to support the new JLD committee as they stopped off in Cambridge on their extensive tour of the country. There were some unfamiliar faces and we hope that this event has helped to introduce some new members to the CTSG, whilst also preserving the important link between the CTSG and its national counter-part. On 6th March 2008, our annual Legal Careers event was held at Mills & Reeve. The night was hosted by Hays Legal and provided an excellent opportunity for trainees to find out more about the NQ market locally, regionally and nationally. We are grateful to Hays for all their support and encouragement. Our alternative Easter celebration this year will be in the form of a Curry Night, to be held at Saffron Brasserie on 27th March 2008. Unfortunately it is too late to reserve a space for this event now as it has been a popular choice, but there are plenty more like this to look forward to. On 24th April we are hosting a Pub Quiz, courtesy of Hays Legal. The venue and further details are still to be confirmed, but we look forward to seeing lots of teams there! The summer months will play host to a group punting trip, a Sports Day and Barbecue (egg and spoon race not to be missed!) and an outing to the Cambridge Arts Festival. We are also hoping to pack in some sports matches against our fellow local group, the CYPSG, a murder mystery evening and a bowling trip. All this leads us up to the big event of the year, our Autumn Ball, on 18th October 2008.
